Welcome to Chester Shorthorns
Chester Shorthorns was founded in 2010 by Rob and Karen Rogers.
We are a small stud investing in premium genetics, producing outstanding Shorthorns. We take great pride in the condition and quality of our shorthorns we have raised over the last 10 + years, from the original founding females purchased from Caskieben Shorthorns, to our recent 2022 purchase of a Yamburgan Anzac son from Futurity Shorthorns.
Our herd has been established with some of the best shorthorn bloodlines the breed has to offer, with purchases from Marellan, Royalla, Sprys, Belmore and Marschay combined with an AI program of Canadian, Australian and American genetics, we believe we have set a base to breed outstanding quality purebred Shorthorns which will benefit any breeding program and are ideal for cross breeding in the Gippsland region.
We are continuously growing and sourcing the best genetics to combine with our elite females to produce high performing purebred Shorthorn cattle.
